I am a cranky old Liberal who lives in the Gold Buckle of the Bible Belt, SW Ohio. A Native Buckeye, I am disgusted by how my state's residents have turned out - bigoted, ill-educated and mostly right-wing nut jobs.

Minor point: one does not salute with one’s left hand – always the right!

Every time the Republicans have tried to kill off funding for public broadcasting (and they’ve done it numerous times), the vast majority of the public has made it very clear to the GOP they like public broadcasting and the GOPers have had to back down.

Wonder if he actually means “25 miles to go” (Motown song by Edwin Starr) rather than minutes. Not familiar with a song with 25 minutes to go.

Definitely pork tenderloin. They pound the pork into a circle that’s about a foot around then serve it on a regular-size hamburger bun, usually with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and pickles. It’s like the state sandwich of Indiana.

Good riddance – and take Oklahoma with them. Someone noted the other day, what will they use for money? The Peso? If they break ties with the U.S., it won’t be the dollar. They’ll need their own army, navy and air force. They won’t get money from the Feds for highways or their pitiful education system. And there will be fewer nutcases in Congress.
