Y’all are making me cry with all the sweet comments about my dad. Thank you for the amazing tribute to him. I’m sure he’s looking down on this with a huge smile on his face. Vista Bill was my hero. Always will be.
I would love to meet with you next time your in Maryland. It would be so nice to thank you in person for the friendship you had with Dad. The last couple of years he wasn’t up for driving too far. Although I would have gladly driven him to meet up with you. But thanks to the internet he was able to reach many, many people. It was his lifeline after my mom passed away. I will email you my contact info tomorrow.
I am so touched by this wonderful tribute to my dad, Vista Bill. To see so many of you using his image as your avatar truly warms my heart. I am very grateful for all of his friends on here that showed him so much kindness and respect over the years.
