    When I was on a vacation in Madagascar we stopped at a tiny village for lunch where they served everyone in the group a typical amount of rice for a single meal. It was about what I might eat in a week if I was eating rice regularly.

    My family has had a lot of house dogs over the years and I can’t think of any that have been afraid of vacuum cleaners.

    Sushi isn’t actually raw fish though, sashimi is. Sushi is a shaped rice ball with a topping. The topping often is raw fish though.

    That isn’t really correct. Dogs are supposed to have excellent night vision. They aren’t as good at it as cats though.

    I often think my elderly father believes that remote controls work on faith rather than physics. That, if he really believes in the buttons he presses, that he’ll get whatever he wants to watch. I’ve seen him sit there hitting the same button repeatedly and getting the same error message over and over.
