Our HOA is actually too lenient. Our next door neighbor for 20+ years has crap in their driveway, at least 5 cars and a camping trailer, goats in the back yard that escape daily (because the fence that he made himself is falling apart — I caught two goats destroying my rose bush), a back yard that is filled with dead trees and debris — and much more. Not a peep from the HOA. The people who live there appear to be of Middle Eastern origin (hence the goats), with heavy accents. I built a privacy fence along the property line between us so we couldn’t see the mess. We’ve been praying for years that they would move out.
