Oww! My bad. They do have a pair for $7.00…special red holiday velvet.

Even the official Doc Marten website doesn’t sell any laces over $6.00. Somebody is trying to pull a fast one here.

Re: holiday gas prices…in my neighborhood of Cleveland, OH prices actually dropped before the holiday and stayed down until at least Tuesday…2 daughters driving 2 directions back to college were pleased…but historically that would seem an abnormal situation (the gas prices, not the pleased daughters).

OK, so I’m confused and maybe trying to analyze things too much:1) Uniformed patrolman Tracy does a good job shooting some suspects at a bank job and somehow that makes him a good candidate for the Plainclothes Squad.2) The Chief shows up at a routine home invasion/shooting, finds Tracy in plain clothes and decides he would be an asset to the Plainclothes Squad.

And yes, I recall the Chief has seen him in plain clothes before at dinner.

Am I looking for a little too much logic in WHY Tracy deserves such a promotion?

    And yes, I know it’s a comic.

Fopotballers don’t need a college degree to play pro ball…they go for the 3 to 4 years of bulking up to be able to compete in the pros. You might get a LeBron James once in a while who can go into pro basketball right out of H.S. but I can’t recall ANY highschooler moving directly into pro football. And most basketball pros went thru college to get bigger and stronger, too.
