   Maybe but that show is an import from the UK and redundancy was never an issue when they put redundant Ren and Stimpy or endless samey tween fare into production.

   Did you know Dana Simpson’s comic Raine Dog is notorious for depicting a female dog having “relations” with a young boy and that they kind of just swept it under the rug after people refused to buy the excuse “it’s a trans metaphor”. Fast forward to last year and it’s revealed that Phoebe and her Unicorn was being considered, along with other Andrews and Mcneel comics, to be made into a Nickelodeon animated series and it only didn’t happen because “we wanted more shows for boys”. Except that is likely not true and the real reason is that with the “Quiet on Set” documentary about to drop they didn’t want to greenlight yet another show with a creator with a tenuous and uncomfortable attitude/relationship towards children like they did with the guys who created Ren and Stimpy, the Loud House, and so much more.

    Yeah I’m shocked someone that favorited both Phoebe and her Unicorn and the terrible New Nancy is taking the chance to be condescending just because they think an opportunity is presenting itself.
