   I’m still bummed about the Gilfather’s double standard with letting Slim do this. What’s to prevent another player saying he has to work after school- but “Don’t worry coach- I’ll be at the games. Don’t forget to pencil me in the starting lineup!!”

   It’s amazing that Gil’s double standard has gone this far. How come another player hasn’t come to this poor excuse for a coach and said he has to work after school to support the family- or go to college next year- or whatever? “Don’t worry coach- I can make all the games…” The school board’s decision will be a blessing for Gil- as he relearns the priorities of family first and sticking with the team rules… Oh I forgot- he just has a wife now…

   Am I missing something? Who are Jeff and Micah anyway? And poor Al-Jo must really have serious self-esteem issues if she cares about what they think…

   She really must be a misfit- because everybody knows our high schoolers lead the nation in one thing only! Self esteem! It sure isn’t math and science…

   Wow- what I wouldn’t give to see a sports page in the Milford Herald- I’ll bet the entire population can’t wait to read about Mimi’s incredible softball team and the exciting double play that ended the game. Does anybody know how I can get to the online version?

   The Yankees set their own schedules? I don’t get it…

   Mimi’s biological clock is ticking- she knows time is of the essence if the lost or stolen Thorpe kids are to be replaced. Time for the Gilfather to rise to the occasion!
