A Chin to Die For is reminding me of the classic It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s Superman play from the 1960s….

I bet this is a short holiday story. “A Chin to Die For” is probably a tribute / one night show about / for Dick Tracy, where the cast of the strip will be present, and Kandikane will go into labor and give birth on Christmas Day.

Is the Apparatus run by Little Orphan Annie? From the silhouette in the middle panel, it sure looks like it!

I’ve never seen any of those; I’d like to.

The cemetery should have been called Wildwood.
And the sheriff with the sunglasses on reminded me of the sheriffs in Reno 911.

They used to run My Little Margie at 6:30 or 7 AM when I was growing up—I’d get up before my parents and watch it…I also own some of the DVDs…it was a fun show, like I Love Lucy but not as manic. And sorry about the earworm, Ignatz!

Random thoughts…
Every time I see Margie mentioned I think of Gale Storm. Am I the only one doing so?
I don’t think Big Margie was being Anti-Semitic, she was just being evil in general. The only person she likes is Little Margie.
We haven’t seen a gruesome ending for a villain in a while…I get the feeling Middle Margie will somehow kill Big Margie in this storyline. I sort of hope that it will be something along the lines of what happened to Jonah Hex in the classic “Last Jonah Hex Story”…I could see Middle Margie just somehow snapping and going all Spectre on Big (Google Jonah Hex and Spectre if you you don’t know what I’m talking about).
Too bad The Spirit is no longer in the story, he and cemeteries do get along (and Big Margie looks like a character that could have been created by Will Eisner…)

I have a feeling that Doubleup will somehow come into the room to assist Tracy and Spirit, thus redeeming himself in his eyes for not protecting the late Ms. Flammel.
So lightning can hit the fence and fry him?
