Dude, Star. Know you nothing of history? The Germans of WWII would never be caught dead associating themselves with the Jews. And they were rather proud of their ethnic cleansing- the wouldn’t produce a cartoon condemning it!
Love your cartoons. Particularly that one you got all the flack for, pointing out the ethnic cleansing of Ghaza. But here- you must think that people can never make recompense for their sins. Your cartoon either made no sense, or was woefully misguided. McNamara was that rare breed of politician who was willing to analyze himself and consider his past mistakes. He repented, and changed. His last decade was spent working tirelessly in the cause of peace, against nuclear weapons, and, as George Fox said, “against the cause of all war”. If you are going to use a stereotype of the afterlife, the proper place for him in your cartoon would have been Heaven, not Hell. That would have shown some originality and deep-thinking, rather than the simple stereotype of a man.
