   What I find really interesting is that in this day of black and white political thinking (the “you are either with us or against us” thinking), BD and Zonker remain friends!

   I think there might actually be a lesson in that for many of us.

   Not all gun owners are good people, not all gun owners are bad people. I just don’t understand the need to carry at all times.

   I love my Rottweilers, but I don’t take them with me where they make other people nervous or frightened. Intimidation is a bully action, not a show of strength.

   Actually crisnp, I never got the idea that the cartoon was anti-gun. I consider it anti-gun while on caffeine. A pretty reasonable concept when I consider how whacked out most people get on too much caffeine.

   I’m not anti-gun, but I am anti-stupid with a gun. I lost two classmates growing up to gun accidents. Shot guns not locked up and loaded. So yes, I think the ability to think, well beyond brain stem functions, should be required before you are allowed to carry.

   In fact, I think psychological evaluations should be required before you are allowed to own a gun.

   While I agree the government has a responsibility to ensure this never happens again, I also have to say that just because you can, does not mean you should.

   Those execs do have a moral obligation to NOT screw over the world’s economy just so they can make a few more dollars on their own portfolios. This isn’t about just getting a few more dollars back on your tax refund, they almost plunged the entire world into a deep, deep depression.

   They should be sitting in a jail cell, rotting away the rest of their lives. Instead, they are making millions of dollars off of our tax money.

   BTW, also remember it was the BUSH administration that gave them that bailout, shortly before they decided to embarrass the auto executives for thinking they were entitled to a governmental LOAN.

   Well Ravenswing, that actually pretty simple. You see, we librils, we are extremely talented and powerful. We can see into the future and influence it from afar and we have bionic powers, extra-perceptional influential abilities and mind reading skills.

   It really was the Democratic party that was in charge during the Reagan administration (Poppy Bush’s first two terms in office), Poppy’s administration AND Junior’s administration.

   We, being the ones who understand and can use science, secretly implanted a microchip in Dick’s pacemaker that ultimately replaced any human emotions with killer instincts coupled with an unnatural need for more money and power.

   Then we charged up the implant in GW’s brain (no, Karl’s implant isn’t connected, it’s really just an upgrade of the same model) that removes any ability to speak or understand the English language and forced him to exercise 4 hours a day, and go to bed every night at 9pm. It also caused extreme fatigue during those times we needed him on vacation so we could influence our Al Queda friends in Iraq to do nasty stuff to the American people.

   I’d tell more, but then I’d have to “remove” you all. Shhhhh!

   It is nice to see that the dumbing down of America is working! The US has provinces all over the place people.

   Don’t hate Obama because he’s smart. It ain’t catchy so I’m sure you all have nothing to fear.

   I believe the difference would be Dems don’t get in other people’s sex lives. Yes, of course the Dems have adultery issues, we’re talking humans here, but the Rep tend to want to judge everyone else (can you say Bill Clinton) while they themselves are doing the same crap.

   What was that saying? Oh yeah, judge not lest you be judged. I believe that was it.

   Oh my gawd, after 8 years of cringing every time Junior opened his mouth and butchered his mother tongue, people have the nerve to take potshots at Obama? Have you no shame at all? None what-so-ever?

   If people I had supported lied as much and as often and as badly as the repiglicons have been doing lately, I’d hide in shame. Obviously we have more sociopaths that originally thought.
