   Mom knows that if Calvin watches the movie in the afternoon, she’s the one who will be up all night consoling Calvin from his nightmares. I also miss Hobbes.

   Good Morning: People who were brought up during the depression had a tendency to be savers. A little cardboard tube here a used piece of aluminum foil there, nothing was wasted. If it could be used again, it was saved.

   I love to shop online. It is easier and in the winter when the weather is bad, I do my grocery shopping online as well.

   My idea of roughing it is staying in a hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. However, that said, I used to love to go fishing with my dad and I used to bait my own hook.

   I’ll bet you anything that some of Watterson’s “stories” are remiiscent of his own childhood.

   There’s nothing they can do about the headlights now, anyway, By this time the battery is probably dead, anyway. Dad should have handed the bag to mom if he really wanted to protect the items inside.

    Unfortunately, I don’t have a dog of my own. This pic is my niece Molly. She also gets underfoot, but usually she is trying to remind you that she wants to eat or wants you to take her outside.
