   In Feb of ‘10 I Googled my grandfather’s name, to see how he spelled his first name, only to have my mother’s obit come up as the first response. She had passed two days after the previous Christmas. My sister, who lives about 5 miles from me, had neglected to inform me.

   Andy, hospital visits are overrated, as far as the visitor is concerned. Let Dad watch Jeopardy and you go eat some of that fine hospital cafeteria food….

   This is almost exactly like the relationship between my dad and his father… Sadly, Grandad died back in ’09.

   At my local hospital, the cafeteria food is MUCH better than what they serve to the patients. Been there, done that.
