   What happened is that Rat enforced his “superpower” image by partly following Goat as Goat exited stage right. The plates haven’t disappeared; Rat simply walked over to Pig’s right side, which puts him far to the right of the plates, which are to the left of Pig where they’ve always been.

   Rat has moved stage-right (viewer’s left) and up unto the table, past Pig. That’s why only Pig’s cup and not Rat’s is still in view in panel 3. And sweet, gullible Pig endorses his housemate’s boastful claim once again! Will Piggy ever wise up?
