At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.

Rat’s definition makes a lot of sense, I’d roll with it.

My favorite chapter would be “how Piltdown Man explains it all.”

That’s right, Goat. Stop. Stop reading that book. Science has moved past the falsity of evolutionary theory. It’s called the fossil record.

Grainbelt, she understood perfectly. I married her and she told me.

Old Benny Hill sketch … lady with large “Ta-Tas” is wearing a name tag, “Pat”, on one of them … well, you can guess the rest.

“Ta-Tas”. Is that what you kids call them these days?

Why is Goat shouting while Rat and Pig try to have a serious conversation? Is Goat some kind of trouble-maker?

Any daily strip that references norks has my vote for Comic of the Year. 2013 will be your year, Pastis, if I have anything to say about it.
And I most certainly do not.
