Lucy leans on the piano, smiling at a flower in her hand, whiles Schroeder plays.

She shows the flower to him and exclaims,"The gift of a flower is always a gift of love!"

He asks,"How about accepting a flower?" She sits on the piano and replies,"Accepting can mean love, too."

She continues,"But it doesn't necessarily have to! Sometimes you have to accept a flower just to keep from hurting the other person's feelings."

He smiles, takes the flower, and says,"Then, I'll accept it."

She snatches the flower away with a grimace.

Schroeder asks,"What does taking it back mean?" She leans her back against the piano, kicks the flower, and shouts,"IT CAN MEAN ANY STUPID THING YOU WANT IT TO MEAN!"
