    He was given three pairs of shoes when he visited Mexico last year. Two burgundy and one brown pair.

    I like someone who knows his/her Oziana, but you know he couldn’t resist the crossover, since the movie had to do ruby to have it show up properly on screen.

    Hardly anti-christian.
    Semi funny ’toon about what to do with retirement when the mind tends to wander.

    Using reason, if jack was a christian he would spell it correctly.
    He is just a nonbelieving troublemaker would be my call.

    POPE Benedict XVI admitted it sometimes felt as if ‘God was asleep’.

    Correct me if I’m wrong…
    Was that Pope EVER in Kansas?
    Just curious.
    Facetiously… twice in one day…

    “Was that Pope EVER in Kansas?”

    I doubt the Pope had ever visited Kansas, but my understanding is the person who ended up with the slippers is from there (and her little dog, too).

    Let’s see if I’ve got this straight now: It’s “meine ruby slippers” and “Mein Gott!”

    It seems to me that there’s a fair chance that Joey Rat the Emeritus will end up devoting a good bit of his retirement to dodging process servers. Or at least he should be.

    @DrCanuck

    Not betting against you on that at all. In fact, I believe that’s about what happened to the last pope to resign, Celestine V. What’s more, that pope died in prison 9 months after his resignation. Ironic, no?
