    There was a news thing on today that wal-marts in some Georgia cites have twinks as of yesterday .

    Seems Dolly Madison is baking them there already and did an early roll out .
    Hurry RJ there might be a few boxes still on the shelf of the first run .

    Kinda reminds me of the old cartoon of Col. Sanders being hauled off by a couple of narcotics cops, as one of them is telling him; “We did an analysis of the chicken, and we found out what some of the 11 Herbs and spices are!”
    There HAS to be something in Twinkies that makes them so darn habit forming!

    That’s odd, I found a few years ago that I didn’t like Twinkies anymore. They tasted “chemically” to me. So I tried Ding dongs and Ho Hos and all the flavors of the cream filled cupcakes, they all were not like I remembered them from my childhood. Even so when ever the grocery store had a sale, Two boxed for $5 or less, I couldn’t resist buying them.

    Even as a kid I hated Twinkies. But not Ding-Dongs and Ho-Ho’s!

    I can’t say I hated Twinkies but I definitely preferred the others.

    I had deep fried oreos once. They tasted not like cookies, but had mutated into tasting more like some form of cake.

    @TimeTraveler

    Mine had crumbled and mutated into something that looked like a wet Oreo powder. Now the deep fried ice cream (deep-frozen ice cream sphere, coated in crushed sugar cereal, flash fried in a deep frier ONLY for ice cream, no onion or mushroom taste here), and presented at the table: crunchy coating on the outside, frozen creamy goodness on the inside. Yummers.
