    With over 1,300 books (just moved and counted my library), I agree with Verne, and no knowledge from a book is irrelevant. Sad thing that so many people hardly know what a book is anymore, and that’s even including “ebooks”. And the trips aren’t just in the universe, but the many others as well.

    Would anyone want this particular strip in a frame?

    @firedome

    I know. It goes along with its companion, “The Gas We Pass”. There’s a whole series, my granddaughter has them all.

    I am also an avid reader. I don’t know how many books I own but looking around my house I would, say a lot. The reason I like e readers is convenience. Books don’t pile up & I can buy almost any book from my reading chair. I still love books but a nook is great to have. Happy reading!

    ^^ecboston: also have a Kindle with keypad, as touch screens go nuts when I touch them, but it IS incredible to have so many additions to my library in such a small device, and the KIndle is very easy to read. (Backlit screens are hard on the eyes.)
