Ribbon-cutting Thursday at the old Hostess plant. New Twinkies should start rolling out by August, maybe even July!

Why so long? Does the plastic for the filling take that long to melt?

Yea, twinkies not so much……..but I’ve gone bonkers looking for Ding Dongs!! And that was back when Hostess was still around. It seemed the stores always had the other Hostess products, but rarely, super rarely Ding Dongs.

No, it takes a while to build the leak-proof chemical storage tanks to hold the ingredients for the “Creme” filling!
You DON’T want that stuff getting into the groundwater!

Yeah. Looks like the Bakers Union that caused the closure in the first place got left out of the new deal. They’re using non-union labor.

“Yeah. Looks like the Bakers Union…got left out of the new deal.”
Undoubtedly part of the plan from the beginning.

But what happened to the executives who gave themselves massive bonuses for “doing such a good job” at getting the labor to agree to significant concessions? Teh executives got the union concessions and THEN gave themselves massive pay increases and bonuses, and “that caused the closure in the first place.” My word, get a clue before you start spewing the partisan anti-union toxic sludge, please.
