Trivia: “Muskrat Love” was a cover, just that Daryl and Toni covered an unknown. America covered it before them.

The song was written by Willis Alan Ramsey and first recorded by him as “Muskrat Candlelight” in 1972. America covered it, retitling it “Muskrat Love” in 1973. The Captain and Tennille cover was released in 1976.

“Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me,
Twice on the pipe if the answer is…………………….”
(Look, lynching me is not going to make it go away.)
And for the low price of 19.95 you too can own this incredible collection of the classic soft rock of the 70’s.
