Well maybe it was something like ’okay I blew it big time… give me my golden parachute and I’ll go quietly off to some other corporation and screw them too.’

    Like Benghazi?

Of course, what difference does it make now, anyway?

Jeez, all the way up to 3 comments today before somebody mentioned Benghazi.

You know, I’d like to round up all the people who keep beating that word to death, put ’em in a room with a globe, 1 at a time, and see how many of them could come within 500 klicks of putting their finger on the place.

There should be a big shoe suspended over the table, waiting to drop. That would take out a few people, at least.

I’ve seen plenty announce that they accept full responsibility, and in the next breath announce how they believe they’re the appropriate person to fix the problem they created – what I haven’t seen executives and politicians accept is consequences. Most other people making such far reaching mistakes would be looking at a stint “between jobs” without a golden handshake.

No doubt about how chillingly accurate today’s cartoon is. It is not only a corporate but a political preamble. Right, Gov. Christie ?
