    Make sure that what you said was what you meant to say; proof-read before hopping on that submit button. Spelling is one thing, but all too often entire words, phrases, or ideas are left out, leaving the door open for confusion or misinterpretation. In addition, as Caddy57 implied, it’s rude to be mean.

    OK, here’s what drives me up the wall: stank, shrank, sank, slank, swang, and sprang are perfectly good past-tense words — like sang and drank. Why do people persist in using their past participles instead? (I’m tempted to blame it on the movie “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”, but I think it was going on long before that.)
