We had a lot of them in the 20th Century. in the 1930s, the two worst flood disasters with 2 and 4 million chinese each.
While planned and not a random “disaster”, Lenin killed 8 million of his own people, the Russians estimate Stalin killed 25-50 million (not counting the 3/4 of casualties in WWII that were from shock armies and suicide batallions to get rid of “undesirables”), Hitler gassed 12 million. Ten million soviets and germans each were killed as the armies went east, then west. Mao killed 90 million of his own people. 800 million if you count forced abortions. Cambodia 2 million. Vietnam 3 million. Several million in central and eastern Europe from 1945-1991. etc.

It’s not as attractive a concept if you have to actually go to the guy’s table, see his face, and smell his breath.

Wiley will also create one about twitter. It’s basically the same thing, but with less characters.

For young people whose view of themselves is just forming the obsessive, thoughtless scattering or parading of their in- most feelings or most trivial thoughts to public scrutiny, comment, criticism, and ridicule is very dangerous, as has been shown over and over.

One of these days, just for fun, how about backing up your preposterous statistics with sources other than the John Birch manual and the bible. If you are going to use statistics, please cite your sources so that they can be verified. Otherwise your statements often strain credulity while attempting to impress.
