So instead of a bail out, it’s a bail in…cool….Volcanoes are hard to argue with….Um, just clean out his pockets first, OK?

    Oh, Mother, Oh Father,
    In our time of fear.
    Grant us the wisdom,
    Your message for to hear.
    Send down your angel band,
to fill our hearts with power.
Oh, Mother, oh Father, in our darkest hour….

    Rodney Crowell….

The quote I heard originally was this: We are as gods, so we might as well get good at it (Meaning our power)…..

Here’s the original quote: " Men have become like gods. Isn’t it about time that we understood our divinity? Science offers us total mastery over our environment and over our destiny, yet instead of rejoicing we feel deeply afraid. Why should this be? How might these fears be resolved?"

    British anthropologist Edmond Leach,

Cut to reality, we have more power than any gods ever imagined….We should use all of our wonderful powers to do what is kind….That’s all….

Do we have enough volcanos? Probably not.

A nice fantasy: if we DID practise human sacrifice, it would not be politicians aand bank ceo’s being sacrificed.

Actually we do practise human sacrifice: it’s
    called war.

salinasong, thanks…I’ve often wondered why nature is male and female, almost always, but there is only a male god? Doesn’t make sense to me…Turns out, the earliest Christian “cults” believed in a dual deity, but then Roman men nipped that one in the bud at the council of Nicaea…(325)….

The Gods: “It’s not like we want you guys to be giving us your trash like this. But, these bankers are stupid enough to be including their PINs in their wallets next to their debit cards. So, yeah, cool. Throw us another couple when you got some free time.”
