Simply put, and accurate, but understated, that whole “cost of wars” thing they ignored for nearly a decade.

    It’s not a cliff.
And, keeping cuts for 98% of taxpayers are supposedly supported by Republicans. So why won’t the Republican House vote on the Senate bill?

It’s not like they’re doing something else.

“It’s not like they’re doing something else.”

Au contraire! Last night on CSpan they were discussing the continuing subsidies of Amtrak and construction of high speed rail in the northeast corridor. Spending cuts? No.

Didn’t the generations after WWII not wrongly believe that wars were good for the economy? In the run up to Iraq, I heard people on both sides of the aisle still claim that to be the case.

Maybe instead of blaming Bush the Islam extremists who attacked America on 9/11 should be getting some of the blame? Naaaaa the libs can never change their spots.

sure, running around saying the “bush tax cuts” are bad, the same tax cuts that Obama said we could not afford to let expire the last time it came up and so when passed he approved of, and the same tax cuts that Obama wants to keep in place for all but the top 2% of income earners. And All the while Obama supports the cut in payroll taxes that he passed, you know, the tax that puts money into social security trust fund, the fund that is a sacred cow and one of the campaign lies about the republicans saying they wanted to do away with it while the Payroll tax cut is doing just that.

liars and thieves that’s all politicians are and you libs are the most ignorant bunch of kool aid drinkers I have ever met.

Since you repeated the question, I will repeat the answer.

Supposedly, Republicans support keeping the tax cuts for the middle class. So why doesn’t the House vote on the Senate bill that accomplishes that?

Because it is unconstitutional. The Constitution requires all tax measures to originate in the House.

We are still ignoring Ima. Just because he added “Mr.” doesn’t change anything. Ignore him. That’s what mindless bullies hate the most – no attention.

Afghanistan was harboring al-q-duh. Saddam was removed under UN Resolution 1441. We are in agreement that Iraq wasn’t freed due to 9/11. Anything else you have to comment on?

CONGRESS cut taxes. The Pelosi/Reid Democrats congress extended the tax cuts at OBAMAS urging. We don’t have a tax revenue problem. We do have a SPENDING problem. Obama ran up /3 of the debt in less than 4 years.
