    Definitely one of the dumbest political moves ever.

    Did you know ‘his’ attorney is a registered DEMOCRAT? Bet CNN didn’t mention that, did they?

    Simply the exception that proves the rule.

    I compare this to the bladerunner murder trial.

    Even if being truthful, the stupidity of the act is severe enough they belong away from normal people.

    Stupidity as a legitimate defense, who would’ve thought they lacked so much pride.

    Nice he set this precedent. This way, when I’m accused of doing something, I can just say: let me check.

    Nope, I’m innocent. Thanks for asking.

    Move along. Nothing to see here.

    What’s that got to do with it? I also wonder about the professionals who create political propaganda, knowing what they are doing is false. The ends justify the means for political whores, and others merely receive money for their services.

    Kind of like Eric Holder investigating Fast and Furious, the IRS,or the NSA.

    @Oscar54

    Not only is he an attorney, he is an attorney for a politician who is an attorney…

    Of course the taxpayers can look at this in the light of Ken Starr who spent bundles and bundles of taxpayer money on investigations which led to successful prosecution… in someone’s fantasy…

    At least the taxpayers got an unambiguous, “He’s good!” for their money. Plus the knowledge that their state government will always be looking out for the good of the state’s voters, as long as they vote for the right guy.

    I’m a registered Democrat. If Governor Christie paid me $650.00/hr, I’d find him not culpable too. Instead, as a New Jersey taxpayer, I’m paying the $650/hr, not receiving it.

    And he’s making a mint telling a guilty Republican what he wants to hear.

    Christie is no different from almost all the other pols in state capitols and in D.C. No matter how obvious the evidence, they either say “What I did is not against the law!” or “I cannot comment until I know all the facts!”. They have become so brazen, that they pull all kinds of shenanigans right in front of us, then they insult anyone with common sense with the excuses they offer. This shows the utter contempt they have for the voting public.

    And his attorney is paid with Republican money.

    Just like the Administration says there was no cover up in Benghazi, just like the IRS wasn’t targeting people, just like obamacare is a success and everybody loves it!, just like just about everything that comes out of obamas lips isn’t a lie….yeah. Why not cover the import things Luckovich?…Oh yeah, because that would implicate your favorite man in the White House, that’s why and you are a lacky.
