Hey a, how did Obama get Bin Laden? Was it not with the information he deemed gotten with torture? And how is that closing of Gitmo doing?

If you pronounce both Rs in February, I grant you the moral high ground.

More than anything else, torture is ineffective, it does not work. Check out former FBI agent Ali Soufan.

I was reading a review of a software product. The German salesperson wrote, ’Don’t buy American products, because America practices torture.‘

An American responded correctly: executive order, congressional resolution, and the Supreme Court have ruled that NOTHING done under orders of the US government is torture. If the rack, the bastinado, thumbscrews. electrodes to the genitals. Chinese enhanced interrogation or any other procedures are necessary to keep America safe, then these are NOT torture, but perfectly legal techniques for interrogating anyone the US government suspects might possibly be an enemy of the American people (and by ’American people’ we mean the people in the US government).

And the US government can order that those interrogation techniques be used until that suspect confesses his guilt, thereby proving irrefutably that the interrogation was not just legal but essential to keeping America safe.

(Or they can just use an interpreter who assures us that the prisoner’s screams were a confession, even though the interpreter doesn’t speak the prisoner’s language: that’s more than enough proof of the prisoner’s guilt.)

And of course Dubya no doubt pronounces it “liberry.”

Of course Obama would have to read it Lie Brary off the teleprompter.
Any Corpse in the Audience? It is memorial day and I see some corpse men out in the audience….

If you’d have bothered to read the background of the events leading to the raid on Osama, one thing would have been clear to you: torturing people got Cheney nothing. The whereabouts of Bin Laden were revealed instead by the hard work of CIA analysts and investigators. And Bush had his opportunity to capture or kill Bin Laden in Tora Bora, but abandoned the effort at the last moment. Remember?

I was wrong: I figured the only book that would be in there would be Hop on Pop. Maybe they have a section on books that Dubya DIDN’T read. That would be substantial.

At least there are books there. O’s will have nothing substantial and only millions of documents containing all his lies. The items of interest? His Teleprompters with space between every four words so he can read them.

So why does the shrub even have a Library? Did he finally finish coloring the second book, and did he keep the crayons inside all the lines this time?

If you call a tail a leg, does a dog have five legs?

No! Calling a tail a leg does not make it a leg.

THE SIMPLE FACTS: Torture has a 1% success rate. Why ? Because the victim will say anything to stop the torture !
