The Republicans made it clear that they were going to work against him in his next election; now they’re surprised he left?

we can only dream … and when you next try to re-invent yourself, Repubs, pick a new symbol, like a Hippo-crat

No one is surprised 28–he was only a RINO anyway. And BCS a Hippo is still better than a jackass.

Yeah, Howie, I’m sure the Republican National Committee thought to themselves, “Let’s punish Specter..that way he’ll jump ship and potentially give the Democrats a filibuster-proof majority!”

Specter’s switch is good news for Coleman. He’ll now get all the funds he needs to push his election-stealing court battle all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Tigger, if you have a link for that, I’d love to read it.

I would have thought with Specter’s switch, Coleman conceding defeat would be a huge story because of the magic 60 number.

Naaahhh; over at www.minnpost.com Eric Black and others have been giving (near?)-daily updates on the mind-numbing drag-on of Franken vs. Coleman. Recall reading a couple days ago the betting is around June 18th for a decision (Vegas odds for plus/minus one or more days spread, etc.) Sounds like trying to run out the clock in (some) sports, and about as exciting. I’d druther it be over. Then get real about elections elsewhere, like www.BlackBoxVoting.org is covering. Who’s minding the store?
