   Boyd, who is openly gay, went to a party with a woman who can’t get the heterosexual men who flirt with her to date her.

   He doesn’t seem to date much either; but, he still goes out with men more than Lila does.

   One of the fashion writers for our local paper is openly gay. He rarely mentions men’s fashions.

   Lila could claim that she got invited the party when she was only wearing her underwear and she was told it was a “come as you are” spur of the moment party.
