The Academy Award-winning director also made awkward off-color jokes, suggesting the invisible president was making obscene remarks.

“(Romney) can’t do that to himself!” he chided the chair at one point.

Only because RoMONEY is to busy doing it to others.

It’s the Rovian and Faux News technique – Repeat the lies often enough, and people (who only listen to you) will believe them.

Going beyond the Eastwood thing (and I feel sorry for him, Improv is hard at 82): when that GOP-pollster said that the Romney campaign will not be stifled by fact-checkers my jaw dropped to the floor. Regrettably there is no audio or video of it. That could have been Team Obama’s new slogan: “Boldly fact-checking where no one has fact-checked before”…

Clint did a good job upstaging Mitt with his rambling insanity. Clint went long and upset the schedule, Mrs Romney complained that it knocked out a movie about their family. Was the convention scheduled on purpose to be on the anniversary of Katrina? Isaac also upstaged Romney in the headlines. Typical republican job, the convention was hyped to the skies while everything went sideways. I assume Mitt as president would also have a poorly planned disastrous admin.

The media should pick apart Romney the way they picked apart Obama.

Well he has already decided to use Bush’ foreign policy advisors.

Wasn’t Fact Checkers the name of Nixon’s dog?

The GOP lies are but a harbinger of things to come if elected. You cannot have an administration replacing performance with lies; who, if the truth is not favorable, you make it up; who replace fact with fantasy, and think it is okay. Administrations have to have integrity, this one does not.

True…and I find it funny that DICK Cheney is the one who most famously uttered (as Tom Wolfe described it) “That quaint anatomical impossibility…”

The Republican Party is on the endangered species list.

Republicans can’t run against the real Obama so, they fabricate one they think they can beat out of whole lies.

Willard said that he ‘wished President Obama had succeeded’.
    -
Even Ann Romney didn’t believe that.
    -
Rush Limbaugh and Mitch McConnell announced before Obama was inaugurated that they would do everything they could to make him unsuccessful, and a one term president.
    -
    Before he was inaugurated.
    -
And Willard was wishing for him to succeed?
    -
Any Fox ‘News’ viewers claim to believe that?
