    Lu’s contemplating college in Australia? Don’t know how realistic that is.

    And as Luann boards her plane for the land down under, Coming off another flight is Quill for his stay on a student VISA for College in America.

    Can you say OOPS!

    Has it been discussed already? Sorry if so.
    IMHO I think that we may see an age change for Luann. Sometime this year, she will age a year or two, or will do so progressively over the next couple of years as she prepares and enters college/university.
    That will mean goodbye to old friends (and dead wood like Tiffany) and new friends will appear.
    Luann and Quill will be a long term relationship, with Luann at least visiting Australia, where Greg Evans spent a few years.

    I agree with you, Otto… I thnk we will also see Luann become a ‘woman’, much like she almost did earlier this year… Nothing graphic, but unmistakable nonetheless… Even though this is a family comic strip, Evans does not shy away from depicting life, as he did long ago with her onset of menstruation…

    Taking the yellow brick road to Oz?
    Well, it used to be a white brick road, but Toto took care of that.

    To be fair, I think Luann has no experience keeping her PRESENT organized.

    One of my cousins is studying in medical school in Australia.

    On another note, it takes time to draw a messy room – takes time to make it that way, too.

    Let us hope that Monday starts a new arc and it is something original. Get off the merry go round, Mr. Evans. Surprise us with a story not about Crystal-Knute and how opposite they are. Not about TJ-Ann and how they try to do each other in. Not about Brad-Toni and how she will deny him once more. Not about Luann-phone and how she is in love with it. Not about Gunth-Rosa and how he is shy around girls. We have seen those stories time after time as they circle around. Shock us with something new and surprising. How about bringing back Bernice?

    Look closely. Frank’s nose is bigger than both his thumbs. Nancy has the Pig Snout nose. Poor Luann did not stand much of a chance with what she inherited. She got mom’s pig nose.

    @Mordock999

    “Secretary of State”…“Out of State”…what difference, at this point, does it matter?

    And Lev, I agree with you about the relative sameness of the revolving story arcs, although the TJ/Ann arc did take a real turn its last swing through, and that (gasp) I’d like to see something involving Bernice, if for no other reason it would provide a reason for her character to exist. It’s been almost a year since I started following “Luann” on gocomics.com and I don’t think there’s ever been any focus on her in that time. She’s sort of like Shermy was in “Peanuts”: Just a filler persona with no character development.
