What really irks libs about a conservative news network is that, after years of having things their own way in the liberal media, an opposing viewpoint actually gets aired.

Very true. When the media itself admits that over 85% of them voted for BHO even though only 51% of the country did, you know there’s a problem.
They say they’re for diversity in beliefs, but that’s only if you agree with them.

Are there any science shows on Fox? Any critical thinking shows, shows that start with facts and work toward conclusions instead of vice versa? Any deductive learning show? One might suppose facts have a “liberal” bias otherwise, Mr. Fox.

“[Fox] really irks libs”
On the contrary. Libs like Fox News. The ‘Fox friends’ come out from long stretches in the Fox bubble and sound deranged. They push voters to the Democrats.
Those looking for bipartisan solutions, however, are hoping normal Republicans in Congress can distance themselves from Fox misinformation beehive. Function as a pragmatic conservative-opposition party.
Some signs this is happening . . . immigration bill, for instance.

I remember seeing the Fox Newsroom scenes on your last Election Night. Not sure what some of the previous posters were watching. The ones I saw were very morose.
Perhaps I live in a parallel universe and we only contact each other via this comments board.

Fox is incredibly entertaining…in the same way as watching a highlight reel of NASCAR pileups.

The phrase “conservative news network” is an oxymoron. News are news, there are no liberal news and no conservative news. And facts are facts. And those who make up their own “facts” end up like Karl Rove on election night, running around the studio in a state of near panic, not understanding what went wrong…

PS: I am very happy that NBC*news* and MSNBC are now separate entities. Nobody would call Olbermann, Maddow, Mathews, Schulz or O’Donnell “Newspeople”. They are pundits and (good, left-leaning) journalists, but they don’t reach the level of – say – Walter Cronkite. When Cronkite did his bid on Vietnam – just the facts, no opinion – Nixon knew that he had lost the nation. Today everybody has to shout to even get a modicum of attention. Pity.

So we should watch MSNBC, big Ed has had to retract, at least twice things he has aired. Madcow would never have anybody but a Proggie on, look up the numbers, Fox has 2 and 2 times the viewers of MSLSD, 2 times CNN. Some nights Oreilly gets close or does beat CBS nightly news. If they are so wrong a lot of folks are watching. Look at "bythenumberstv.com The Five beat Chris by more than 2 to 1, Brent beat Politics Nation almost by 3 times, OReilly had 3 times Big ED, Sean only had 500K more and Greta had double Larry at 10 PM.

Using Fox News as a skeet-shooting target—yeah, that’s about all it’s good for. Being conservative is one thing, but being dumb, stupid, ignoring facts, that is another! How can anybody take seriously a news network that denounced the latest Muppet movie as socialist propaganda?
mikefive said, 4 months ago
News networks may report with a degree of bias, but the only news network I’ve watched that completely lacks credibility is MSNBC.
midaswelby said, 4 months ago
More evidence that libs don’t understand guns. A scope on a firearm would make skeet (or flying TV) shooting virtually impossible.
By the way, the New Republic was duped into retweeting a phony pic of Obama with a shotgun. Where are the real pics?

Obama got his approach for handling the Press from Hugo Chavez.

What really irks libs about a conservative news network is. the deliberate misinformation, truth-manipulation (into anything but the truth) and propaganda. As I’ve said many times, if faux “news” were truly “fair and balanced” they would not have to tell you that all the time. Their actions and deeds would prove it out, but they do not. In fact it has been demonstrated time and again that their “news” is anything but fair, balanced or truthful. That is not to excuse most of the mainstream media, but it has also been demonstrated that even though reality and truth don’t always agree with the Democrats, facts, truth and reality all have a liberal bias.

I don’t think he really has to “shoot down” Fox News when they revealed themselves by having to win a lawsuit explicitly to allow them to legally lie.
ARodney said, 4 months ago
Has Obama actually criticized Fox News, or is this just another conservative “self-importance” fantasy? Can’t you find something that ACTUALLY HAPPENS to criticize?
