What an excellent Grandmother. And Lio knows how to write thank you notes, I’m impressed.

Just what a kid like Lio needs, an RPG with an armor piercing round. Look out neighbors!

Grandmother, huh? Ah, but on which side, father’s or mother’s?

She must be on his mom’s side! But, if she was his dad’s mom, that may just explain his dad’s attitude.

He had to leave her behind when they put him in the Witless Protection Program.

I hope we get to meet Granny someday. But what country is she from? Where are they likely to have women in Special Forces? Israel? Russia? That could explain the RPG.
Liowatcher said, 10 months ago
I think that Lio was a love child, and either Mom and Dad never married or she left him soon after the shotgun wedding. Special-Forces Grandma (paternal) probably “took her out” soon afterward, hence Lio lives w/ Dad.

Would you risk NOT writing a thank you note if that was your Grandmother, margueritem?

Having a Grandmother in special forces would seem to explain much about Lio.
Interesting to note that he’s ambidextrous.
