This strip would make a great show. The only problem is that the kids are not disrespecting their parents, there are not a lot of lewd remarks from the characters. And most of all it is positive. I’ve seen similar shows get the ax because of that.

Sunny, make sure you’re saying that with humility. “Pride goeth before destruction…”

When I was teaching, I could not keep from calling students with siblings I’d already had, by their siblings’ first names. I never compared their work with their siblings’ work, though – at least, not out loud.

:) Being the 5th of 6 kids – I had many teachers who had prior siblings . . . luckily the four ahead of me were so varied in their work styles, they could not hold me to a certain standard.

My brother is a decade older and I was still called by his name and expected to perform at his level.

Really makes me miss “The Cosby Show.”

My brother always told me he did better than I did.
My parents pulled out the old report cards
Maybe the false claim inspired me to try harder.
My older brother helped .e understand better, not competing.
He also let me read his textbooks four years early so I wouldn’t be bored trying to go at the same speed as the dumbest classmate.
