We know they’re all guilty. Every one was subjected to ‘enhanced interrogation’ with an experienced monolingual American-speaking (i.e. a normal, decent, all-American) interpreter who clearly concluded that the prisoner’s screams meant, ‘I am guilty. I’ve killed thousands of Americans and will kill thousands more if you don’t stop me.’ What more proof could anyone ask? Either keep them gaoled for life without parole, or try, convict, and execute them all (not necessarily in that order).

This is the 21st century, and we have no place for outdated 20th (let alone 18th) century ideas of proof, evidence, or justice.

Obama would have tried and either imprisoned or released them long ago, if it weren’t for the cowardly congressmen setting up impassible road blocks. Obama, Bush, and McCain all said Guantanamo should be closed, but now that’s against the law. There’s plenty of blame on both sides, but it’s mostly Republicans, as usual. No reason or thought behind it, just blind partisan spite.

Obama can close Gitmo with the stroke of a pen, he wants to keep Gitmo open for same reason Bush Opened Gitmo

If Obama would try to do ANYTHING with the stroke of a pen, you and your fellow conservatives would be screaming about how he has overstepped his boundaries. Do not try to deny this.

Gitmo is an embarrassment. It is a major disfigurement on the face of American foreign policy. If you want to know the REAL reason why we are so disrespected around the world, look no further than Guantanamo.

Until it is closed and all guilty are imprisoned legitimately, and all innocent are returned to their homelands, America has to hang its head in shame, and looks hypocritical when we take others to task for human-rights violations.

Not true, I am not a Conservative. Odd how you have nothing to say when I blame Ronald Reagan for the September 11, 2001 attacks. I pointed out had RR not supplied Osama with more bullets in 1985, Russia would have killed Osama when he ran out of Bullets.

No response when I state Nixon should have been sent to Federal Prison for life and the only thing that saved him was Fred Thompson telling him The Prosecution knew about the tapes and he needed to turn them over,. This gave Nixon time to erase his voice from the tapes which if heard would have been enough evidence to send him to Federal Prison for life.

No response from you when I blame ‘W’ for the September 11, 2001 Attacks as he ignored a PDB handed him in August 2001 telling him that Osama was planing to hijack our own Commercial Airplanes, turn them into missiles, and fly them into our Tall Buildings and key Government Buildings.

I Blame ‘W’ for his failure to beef up Airport Security by banning all sharp objects from Carry on luggage.

I am a moderate. I call them as I see them.

It is impossible for me to watch Fox News as the only way to view Fox News is via a Script TV Service such sa Cable, Fiber Optics from Phone Company or a Satellite Dish.

I do not have a Script TV Service, I only receive my local Networks for free over the air using “Rabbit Ears”

Prisoners of War have always been locked up until the conclusion of hostilities. No trials. Of course you run into a problem when you don’t know what “conclusion of hostilities” looks like.

But I like Obama’s method of simply vaporizing combatants better. Much less messy. Don’t you agree, libs?

My apologies. I do not see all of your comments, as I am on GoComics only sporadically, but this does not excuse my mis-categorizing your perspective.

Thank you for the considerate response. I will do my best to learn from this.

Bush established Guantanamo, Bush put the prisoners in there without charge, Obama intended to close guantanamo, the Republicans would not let him. Obama wanted trials, the right wingers were to paranoid to have the prisoners on American soil.
    Your point sir?

Trials were to take place. Some were already started. Liberal groups stopped them. Do some homework. (But no, they weren’t on “American” soil. They were at Gitmo.)
