If she was really ticked, it’d have been a coffee mug

Talia’s muffin? Most men would eat that.

Eating will not cause buns in the oven.

Hey! Ethan caught it on the first bounce – he didn’t even have to invoke the five second rule. For my part, chocolate chip is OK, but blueberry or banana nut rank higher.

As far as action on Talia’s muffin, my guess is that it is HER choice as to who eats her muffin as long as it is in her possession. Now whether guys can get on the list depends whether she plays in one league or two, doesn’t it?

What is disgusting is throwing it away. So much food wasted here in the USA.

I can’t disagree with this in principle. We do have an excess of junk food here, though.

Perhaps it shouldn’t be prepared in the first place, if it is unnecessary. But the idea that food should be eaten because it’s there — finish your plate, billy! — only further encourages Americans to overeat.
Don’t train your kids to eat more than they want.

I was talking about not wasting food. I said nothing about eating too much. But we do need to eat way less than we do. Problem is that the food companies are spending millions to get us so addicted to their food we will eat it incessantly. By locating the “bliss” level in every food they over produce.

Sure, I wasn’t replying to YOUR meaning, but to an existing danger in the US that, in part, comes from an insistence of “not wasting food”.
Of course, the oversized portions, often served in certain restaurants, are more to blame, but, still, once they are on your plate, you aren’t helping the hungry people of South Sudan or Mississippi by stuffing down those last bites.
