    Yeah, Jill….. like you’re a stranger to drama.
    Two characters, both incapable of enjoying a good thing…. or even just leaving well enough alone.

    I know these women are gay, but do they all have to be drawn looking like men? Not all gay women have butch haircuts and masculine features.

    @Gracielu

    But most of the ones I know, do.

    Gracielu, you think Chelle has a butch haircut and masculine features? I don’t. Neither does Skye or Dorothy.

    New format/style: amazing. Must have been a scary change.

    the feminine side likes to care and the masculine side is into rules. Cutting your hair short follows that.

    Its supposed to be the BMW Mini Cooper, its way too big to be a real Mini.

    Not to mention that OG Minis are pretty scarce these days. And older than Jill.

    I don’t see their features as masculine myself.

    I know plenty of heterosexual women who look extremely butch, as well….including my next door neighbour.

    One of my favorite things about this strip is that the artist draws the characters differently based upon the theme of that particular strip. Sometimes Jill is more realistic, sometimes more comic-like. One of my favorite moments was when Aesha met Chelle and Jill in a diner and said “It was great to see Jill in Egypt, she hasn’t changed a bit” and everyone knew what that meant, that she had slept with Jill, Chelle had a scowl and Jill was drawn sort like a sheepish Charlie Brown, with a nervous “heh, heh”.
