So when a drunk driver kills someone; do you blame the booze or the car? Common sense would say blame the individual, but I’m interested in YOUR point of view.

Please give at least equal attention to the things that kill more Americans.

Breaking news: A school in Troutdale, Oregon this morning, but remember folks, ready access to guns is NEVER the Problem, as well-armed “good guys” are the only answer, right..

P.S. In Seattle a guy with pepper spray took down the guy with the gun, just saying, deadly force is of course the only solution. Right.

Yet again libs are missing the concept of personal responsibility. But yeah, blame the gun if it makes you feel better.

^Note: in Las Vegas, the guy killed at Wal Mart was a CCP holder who drew his weapon, and the “Don’t Tread on Me” folks killed him too. All dead were ARMED! So much for armed good guys stopping armed bad guys, take that one to the microphone again, La Pierre.

Also GIVE IT UP! The state of California did NOT have a single indication that the shooter met their requirement for denying access due to mental status. Even the kid’s shrinks, for YEARS didn’t see reason to report him, and keep him from getting guns, within those same state laws.

No report on the person shooting in Oregon yet, except it was apparently a rifle this time.

BTW; the Vegas shooters weren’t identified as nuts unable to buy guns, just TEA party types or “sovereigns” who I consider all of latter totally nuts, while the TEA party only has progressed to a majority being nuts, as the somewhat rational ones have been leaving.

I’m sure those two Police Officers would have agreed with you completely. They had a lapse of personal responsibility by not sitting in that restaurant with their backs to the wall, guns out and ready.

77 weeks, 74 school shootings since Newtown: what a great proof that we don’t have a “gun problem”.

BTW: Zuhlamon, I’ve sat with my back to the wall in restaurants for 47 years, ‘Nam and PTSD, and my kid’s now the same after Iraq, Bosnia and other places.

Trout, my comment to SW about “personal responsibility” was sarcasm, but I understand your plight. I was sitting at a crowded bar (Rocky’s) in Pacific Beach when there was a backfire in the street. I jumped a foot high, adrenalin rushing. The patrons laughed, I went outside to calm down. When I came back in, everybody was silent, avoided eye contact. My wife (at the time) told me they asked “What’s with him ?”, to which she simply replied: " ‘Nam."
It’s something that never leaves you.
