The climate change that just mangled the northeast, mittwit.

Notice the utility poles. This is what the decrepit Com Ed distribution system looks like in Chicagoland (northeast Illinois) normally.

Colbert covered Romney’s pledge to abolish FEMA…
“Right, we should make disaster relief the sole responsibility of the states. Who better to respond to what’s going on inside its own borders than the state whose infrastructure has just been swept out to sea?”

You are, of course, ignoring the fact that with that very small bump came the news that the actual number of people employed INCREASED. The increase in unemployment, according to the numbers, is because more people feel encouraged to get back into the job market.

Another triumph of irrelevance to the topic!

(Besides, the jobs report is good news: the number of employed people went up; the percentage of “unemployed” ticked up because more people resumed looking for work and thus are now being counted as unemployed.)

We now return you to the previously scheduled topic of the cartoon.

Doing your best to hurt America to get back in power, aren’t you. Imagine if the GOP hadn’t blocked the jobs bill, but acted as they would have under a Republican president. We would definitely have had much better job growth, and there might be a fraction of a chance I’d consider voting for a reasonable Republican candidate in the future. At this point — they’re all evil because the good ones that are left all support the evil ones in their economic vandalism.

Oh, you mean that the unemployment rate is now a little closer to the TRUE unemployment rate that the Democratics refuse to talk about.

So there was no climate before man came to change it? No hurricanes before algore failed at selling carbon credits? The continents were never under water at any time in history?
Pay my share to your global warming religion.

There are three types of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics. Unemployment figures have been manipulated for decades. We never have true knowledge, but we can get an idea of the neighborhood.

I think we can all agree that more people being employed is a good thing. Or can we?

All the while the catastrophe in NY is ongoing I can’t shake that one line from “Ghostbusters”: “I’m not going to be the major that allowed New York City to be drawn into the ninth circle of hell!”. Tough job, wonder why anybody would run for it…

Wait – you mean a STORM is proof of climate change? Then what do calm, pleasant, normal seasons prove? Oh, right! The weather proves whatever you want to believe. Talk about deniers!

Why don’t you just go to Romney’s site and see what HE says. Why let it wash through a biased source?
Romney’s plan does not abolish FEMA.

As far as global warming, scientific belief does not constitute scientific evidence.
