Just say it was Metallicus’ fault. Whoever smelted, dealt it.

Times between destruction and construction may vary.

Watch any superhero flic where the good vs. evil fight is in the city streets and it’s never pretty. Action just isn’t appreciated without the visuals of violence and destruction.

Hey squintyeyed: You have spammed that same gripe on a bunch of pages. Either you are a comics.com fan trying to advertise them, or you are unaware of your own browser capabilities. Both IE and Firefox have a bar across the top with words on it. Click on “view” and then on “Zoom” and follow those directions. It might even work for you if you simply hit “Ctrl” and roll your mouse wheel. Quit blaming the website for your inability to operate your own computer! Do you think your complaining is going to change anything?? Really, it’s just you on this one. (Apologies to everyone else for this rant.)

I think squinty is just a spammer.

(I do too D-C, that’s why I didn’t get into the whole “change your monitor resolution” thing. If nothing else, it’s possible that my rant might help some other quiet person who has that problem but really IS unaware of how easy it is to adjust the sizes..
I’ll go take my meds now)

Also you need only click on the MORE arrow at the bottom of the strip and select VIEW LARGER. No excuse for not being able to read the comic.

reading simon green’s shaman bond series - same problem comes up all the time how do you save the city or the populace when you need to destroy the evil guy? not everyone can drag the baddie into outer space or the backwoods of beyond and who is the baddie? who feels they should run the world and why or why not? good series - i recommend it

i remember reading a short story that dealt with the collateral damage in superhero/supervillain battles. don’t remember exact details, but there was an insurance company involved.

Marvel did a comicbook called “Damage Control” about the company that cleaned up after super-hero battles. Very tongue-in-cheek story telling.
