Great toon , so very true in it’s simple honesty! The crime that hurts the most though is how libs nationwide will not acknowledge the lies , the pain , and the damage done by the most corrupt , arrogant , and despicable administration in modern times!

Most of the “lies” I have seen attributed to the sundry groups and people who supposedly lie about the PPACA are not lying but are misinformed and passing misinformation on. A real tragedy arises when people will believe this misinformation because of political, moral, or religious preconceptions. For example, I’ve seen the $5000 fine thing many times in the forums in GC yet 5000 appears in the PPACA only in reference to a section 5000A of the Internal Revenue Code 1986. The fine for 2014 enumerated in the PPACA is $94.

Another example is that insurance companies are canceling insurance policies out of greed. The insurance companies are “canceling” (actually, discontinuing) these policies because they are not in compliance with the requirements that insurers must include in their coverage as specified by PPACA.

The list could grow longer, and I hope my point has been made. The PPACA is a poorly written, ill conceived law that should have had considerably more research done before being enacted. Maybe they should even have read it before voting for it.

    “Toadies(right wing)”
This is the reason why our government must take over the financing of the ACA.

You won’t be affected at all by Obamacare. It won’t cost you anything. Why is it the freeloaders are the ones always saying what a great thing it is? Your 401K made it to $25,000 in 20 years.20 years?and you think that is good?Did you work at all or only in fast food?

What are snarling at, now? Your rambling, unsupported assertions makes no sense to me, and where did that 401k attack come from? Just curious.

Yeah, the so-called “lies” of Obama are nothing compared to the lies about Obamacare from the right. Like that it will “cost jobs.” Heard that whopper again just last week, and from an elected congressman. There’s a good article on it (with actual facts!) in Time magazine this week.

So all those people who had their hours cut to under 30 hours are liars?

I say the PPACA is a good thing in general. As a “freeloader” that works full time, and pays taxes, my fair share, and does not grumble about it, I think you are off-base and poorly informed. I wish the 1% and their supporters would wake up, our military is outrageously over funded. We need to maintain and add to our infrastructure. It’s time to stop exploding bombs etc overseas.

No, but their employers are the ones cutting hours. Nothing new about it. My friend worked for a very large, expensive, over-priced department store in the 1980s. Only the store manager worked full-time. They were not about to pay benefits to the minions. Working less than full-time to take advantage of the lowly employees is nothing new.

If you like your insurance you can keep it; If you like your doctor you can keep him. You all will save over $2500 per year. These lies top all.
