- Looks like someone was on a deadline, so had to cut-and-paste an old template.
- Anyway, there should be a check with “Right to Collective Bargaining.”
- “Right-to-Work” was a term clearly made by someone who mistook George Orwell’s 1984 for a guide.

First of all: yes, Payne uses this template A LOT. I first thought he was just lazy, but I’ve now come to the conclusion that he’s flat out of creative ideas…
-
Secondly: Look at the titles of laws the GOP proposes and you can’t stop laughing. My favorite is “Death Tax Elimination Act” where they wanted to get rid of inheritance tax for the super-rich. All of their language is Orwellian, lying has become their second nature.
-
And it hasn’t started yesterday. Look what Reagan did with Iran/Contra or Nixon with Watergate. This party is on their well-skidded way to hell and they’re trying to bring the whole country with them!

If the big Corps would take care of their employees instead of treating them like disposable slaves, then there wouldn’t be any need for unions in the first place.
Overtime pay, sick leave, safe workplaces, vacations…
Thank a Union.

Were there any laws passed under BHO that supported those noted in the check boxes?

Right to work is a states rights issue, not a federal one.

^ ok howzabout doing nothing, despite warnings about 9-11?
ok howzabout starting two optional wars and embedding us in multiple quagmires.
ok howzabout cutting taxes whilst fighting those wars and telling everyone to go shopping.
ok howzabout leveraging every piece of equity in the country, taking the cash, and leaving us all with the debt.
howzabout being responsible for the downgrading of the national credit rating because of debt ceiling intransigence that was never an issue before.
howzabout putting the good of the people last instead of ahead of their own political agenda.
this is what my republican party has done over the last 12 years and it’s disgraceful.

Morty, every time I think you may be capable of rational thought without stupid prejudice you disappoint. 48% of the country voted for the republican ticket. Your comment would classify almost half of the American people as desiring that we “trash” the country. Ridiculous, even for you…

Okay, thank you. Now the reality is they have “priced themselves out of a market,” both in the private and public sector. “Corporations treating their employees like slaves.” Knock off the drama and quit with the partisan platitudes. This country has huge problems that aren’t resolved by looking backwards and blaming others.

In the mind of conservatives, the 40 hour week, 8 hour day, sick days, vacation & health insurance were all given out by generous employers who only cared about the well being of their employees.
