A customer was sitting in a bar having a few drinks when he noticed a tiny little spot on the wall that seemed to be moving. He called it to the bartender’s attention. The bartender glanced at the moving spot and said, “It’s a ladybug.”

After a moment of stunned silence the customer said, “Good Lord, what incredible eyesight you have!”

Lady bugs keep showing up in the composter, er, computer room. I move them to plants that have bugs.

Since when are ladybugs a garden problem? Aphids (which ladybugs destroy) are a garden problem.

The only bad thing about lady bugs is that they
leave an unpleasant smell on your hand if you
    squeeze them.

Right…of all of the crawly things in the garden, Lady Bugs are last on the list…they are cute…Now Earwigs…those things are grose and need to be dead…and they bite

So what business have you squeezing other beings anyway?

You don’t have to squeeze them, they leave smelly poop on your hand.

I found a snake in a backyard one time. Definitely did not have the same reaction Jon is having right now.

Ladybugs can bite. And if it is a year with a lot of them they can bite a lot.

Some 30 years ago or so, we had a plague (can you call it a plague if they are ‘good’ insects?) of ladybugs in my home town. I came home one day to see the front of the house, the path, the door, almost covered. It was impossible to walk up the path without crunching the poor things, though I did try. In their many thousands, they’re not quite as cute though.
