    Good morning, Vagabonds. Three more days.
    @David, I guess the entomologist took the beetles because any insect is always interesting for an entomologist to see.

    @Arye – Guess so.
    Anyway, it’s warming up now. Lovely shirtsleeve weather.

    Good morning Vagabonds.
    It’s 30 even outside, and snow is falling.
    Kind’a makes me think it mite be that winter is a coming.
    Well 50 yrs ago today, as a then 10 yr old I don’t really remember where I was when Kennedy was shot, most likely in school.
    No TVs in the classroom, then there were only two classrooms in my school.
    All righty then have fun all.

    I remember where I was. I was in Mrs. Gray’s 5th Period English Class in the 10th Grade. The school Principal came on the intercom and announced it. We were told to tell our parents about it when we got home. When I told them, they thought I was joking. Without saying anything, I went to the living room and turned on the TV. In a few moments, they came into the living room to see for themselves.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

    I was in eighth grade science class. I remember that my male teacher cried. We, the kids, were just kind of numb. I also remember that we had planned on seeing “The Incredible Journey” that weekend, and the theaters were shut down in honor of JFK. The film moved elsewhere the following week and I didn’t get a chance to see it until after the remake came out. The trivia we remember………

    We’re leaving tonight! We’ll be back in internet range on Sunday the 1st. Florchi, I will wave on our way through Ft. Lauderdale.

    I was at my first “real” job after college. No one could believe it. We took our lunch hour, and MMM and I met up and just sat and listened to the radio and wept!

    Jan……..enjoy your vacation!
