Good morning, Vagabonds. @Rita, thanks for your suggestion yesterday about googling anti-cancer foods. Actually I am a vegetarian, at least in my home and I rarely eat out. I eat oatmeal almost every morning and in my recent trek to BJ I bought a bag of snow peas as well as baby carrots, which I eat as a snack. In fact I graze – rather than eat 3 big meals, I eat 5 small meals. My problem is peanut butter and pasta (I measure my pasta by putting just a handful of raw pasta into the water). I forgot to buy peanut butter at BJ and have none, so I may let it go and also forgo the pasta, just eating my veggieburgers without the pasta. I will also forgo whole milk and just drink my powdered milk – essentially white water. Also, I bough little packets of almonds at BJ which I snack on now instead of cookies.

    Good Morning, Villagers,

Brilliant sunshine this a.m. And, it is sitting at 50 degrees right now. We’ve already opened a window to get the fresh air.

I submitted my snow covered lilacs picture to our local TV station and they showed it on the weather report. It seems that snow caught a lot of people off guard. it was only supposed to be rain in the lower elevations. Anyway, it was fun to have my name mentioned.

Good choices, Arye. That’s what I’m learning. It’s all about choices. And, Jan……..I really don’t miss my evening chocolate. I’ve replaced it with 4 dried apricots. Still sweet, but oh so healthy.

Left GA. last Sun. and stopped to visit with my older bro in SC. west by n. GA. & TENN. stayed there till last Sat. While
there he drove me up to Tenn. so we visited our younger sister & our bro-in law and stayed 2 nites to catch up and
enjoyed a afernoon on their boat sightseening. Then back to SC at his place which is on a private lake, sooooooooo
beautiful as he lives in a NAT. forest. Left last Sat and drove to Richmond VA. to say hi to my youngest son and his signif.
other, stayed one nite and got caught up also.
Left there last Mon. and drove to Cornell NY. , grabbed a
room for the nite and then arrived at my summer cottage on
Lake Ontario in Webster (Rochester) NY on Tues. aft. So
beautiful as always here on the lake, little cool right now.
Most of my snowbird retirees are slowly getting here from FL.

Ya’ll sound as well as can be TG

    talk to all again,

    Hi Vagabonds.
And yet it rains. Makes it hard to get into cemeteries to put out the flags.
Snow in the forecast here. We have had snow on Memorial Day before, so, no surprise.
    Welcome back Bill.
