   Good morning, Vagabonds. I did go swimming yesterday and then a Turkish friend with his wife and 2 little children came over and we went to the pool. While swimming my Uyghur friend from Norway called me and spoke to my Turkish friend in Turkish (Uyghur and Turkish languages are related) – He told me it was freezing in Norway and was jealous that my pool water was so warm – in fact, I was reluctant to get out of the pool into the cold air.

   Then we played Scrabble in Turkish. At first I was winning, but then my friend got ahead. Afterwards, we went to Publix and I bought several packages of Near Eastern rice pilaf – there was a “buy-1-get-1-free” and I took advantage of the sale.

   Went in March 17, didn’tt come out til mid December.
   Long season, lots of things happened. I’ll write about it soon. Likely be some stuff some of you have read before, but not all of it. More detailed.

   I think of Clint Eastwood as a cowboy, so I think of “Fist Full of Dollars” or “Hang’em High” “Rawhide” (even though it’s not a movie) So I guess the movies mentioned are favorites.

   I got here after y’all picked your favorites………I’m with Jan, I love Clint in Paint Your Wagon. …………but there are so many! Kelley’s Heroes, Two Mules for Sister Sara, Good Bad & the Ugly, and a recent favorite….Gran Torino!

   MY recent Clint movie- Gran Torino, have watched it twice now- believe he directed that one also.

   mid 70’s today-unusal for this time of year here- so I’ll go outside and read for awhile and work on my tan

   There are a whole slew of runner-ups, though.
