    Good morning, Vagabonds. I’m still not back to my usual routine since returning to Miami, as you can see by my posting at 7:45 AM. At least I got a few solid hours of sleep plus naps as I went to sleep after reading the comics. My new strategy is when I read the comics I’ve selected I only read the ones that usually have a lot of comments early. That way there won’t be a lot of comments and I can go to sleep early. If I’m not too tired, I will then read the comics thast usually have few comments before going to sleep. I realize that I may miss a few germaine comments, but, until I get my routine back, I must go this route.

    Morning, Village.
    Today I’ll have my annual interview with the District Superintendent. It’ll be my last one, ever, because I’m going to tell him that I intend to retire in June. Hee, hee.
    And I’ve got a little game planned. Sometimes the DS likes to ask what I’m currently reading. It’s his way of feeling us out about our interests, how we spend our time, our spiritual growth, etc. If he asks that question today, I’m going to tell him The Complete Little Orphan Annie, Volume Six.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

    David, I enjoyed your little plan so much I read it aloud to my husband. (I very rarely share what is on this forum with him.) I hope your DS enjoys it as well.

    Rita, I didn’t read until this morning that you are under the weather. Lots of vitamin C and Ecanacea to jump start your immune system!! Feel better, my friend.

    Arye, keep on plugging and you’ll get back to your routine. Moving is stressful, even when you don’t cross time zones.

    Good Afternoon, Vagabonds,

    Still not myself……………I haven’t figured out who I am, if not myself (attempted humor)

    I forgot about Ecanacea, I’ll have MMM go get me some when he goes to the post office today. He’s feeling better, so I will, too!

    I don’t know how you boys Arye and SweetBill handle your moves each year! What a lot of work! I guess it is worth it if you have severe winters up North, huh.

    David……I thought you were retiring at the end of the year…..did I miss something? Good luck with your review!

    @Montana Lady

    We changed our mind about retiring at the end of 2012 because of Social Security benefits. Between January and May the Bishop meets with her cabinet to make the new appointments, which take place in June. So we’ll finish the appointment year out and retire in June.

    The DS didn’t ask his famous question so I didn’t get a chance to play my trick on him. What is usually a pastoral evaluation turned into a church evaluation. He asked me a bunch of questions about the congregation so he can begin thinking about who my successor might be. It was actually a very smart move on his part.
