    hockey game. WHO around here is surprised that DRY likes Dueling Banjos? It’s from the sticks which is where she lives! Akenta, is the weekend ANYWHERE in sight? This was a day from hades!

    First I want to apologize for a major calendar malfunction this week. I went back to the pencil and paper and realized I missed a birthday :-( Tabby I knew you had one at the end of this month, but forgot the day. Hope you had a fabulous day. To make up for it, since today is the last day of the month, I say we just celebrate every day in March.

    There are a couple of other holidays today – Spain is celebrating Día de Andalucía. Actually only celebrated in Andalucia and is more of a quiet holiday, but can have some parties.

    For JFri, the holiday he keeps asking for 228 Memorial Day is observed in Taiwan. It’s a day to seek peace in the world and remember the tragedy in Taiwan – see http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art29303.asp

    Shika If I recall correctly, Tia Carmen had a gentleman friend some time back.

    And no, she is the attendant, and too dense to realize he means her and not the creamed spinach, which BTW is quite DELICIOUS, if prepared properly! :-D (I know you were joking, but I had to throw that in there!

    You just had to throw spinach in there? I’m sure that creamed spinach tastes fine, but it will never be my favorite vegetable. I can eat it raw, but once it is cooked, the texture is slimy and gritty at the same time. At least, to me.

    As for Tia Carmen’s former boyfriend, I don’t recall.

    We eat spinach a lot here, mostly in salads, but also sautéed. Good stuff!
