Actually applied, it will likely save jobs. But then we really get a chance to see for sure, No more false prophets

Total government healthcare would have avoided this foolishness, but the Repubs got their hands on the system and botched the mix so we have a mutant X-system. but. hey, it kept the insurance co.s in the deal opposed to shut out from one of their cash cows.

Your definition of “truth” bears very little resemblance to the dictionary definition. Even the Wall Street Journal wanted universal healthcare — but they would probably have preferred the same thing Obama did – single payer.

If both parties work together without letting the lobbyists write the legislation for them, a truly viable and affordable plan can be put into place. There are too many places nationwide where hospitals prove it can be done, but lobbyists representing special interests in the medical field are getting in the way. Your healthcare is being corrupted, not by a political party, but by a company with a profit motive.
The only jobs that have to be lost are lobbying jobs.
Educate yourselves. Read. And then write your politicians.
Respectfully,

Companies almost always pass on higher cost on the to customer. The constant crying about Obamacare makes them look even more greedy and selfish. If they would just shut up about it most employees wouldn’t think twice about it.

Yes the government runs EVERYTHING more efficiently like public schools, the post office and the DMV right?

Long time no see, Howgy. But is it really Obamacare that’s costing jobs, or is it some tantrums by people who want publicity?

“…Yes the government runs EVERYTHING more efficiently like public schools, the post office and the DMV right?…”
.
No, but it does run health care more efficiently.
.
Example: The most “capitalist” system in the world is the for-profit American system. It is also by far and away the most expensive system in the world. Administration costs in the U.S. are running at about 20% of premiums.
One of the most “socialist” systems in the world is the British system. Administration costs there run at about 5%.
Life expectancy in Britain is higher than in the U.S.. Customer satisfaction in Britain is also considerably higher. (Note the British highlighted their universal health care system in the Olympics opening ceremonies.)
.
When it comes to health care, throw the capitalist mantras away. Health care doesn’t follow the normal capitalist rules. The U.S. is the only developed country in the world that still thinks people’s lives and health are for-profit commodities.

Actually the government used to run those other departments quite well, until they decided to hire MBA’s to run them, and make sure they’re ‘run more like a business’.
.
That being said, has anyone else noticed that the “nothing for free” conservatives don’t have pro on their name? Obviously their attitude of ‘pay for everything you want’ doesn’t apply to them. Oh and before anyone jumps on the liberals for the same thing, remember, ’they’re all leeches, so that behaviour should be expected of them’.

@HOWGOZIT
Fraud is not limited to government agencies. If a crook robs a bank, you don’t blame the bank. But note also that Obamacare is not a government agency. It is the present system regulated by government for the purpose of more equitable healthcare coverage.

Something I find very interesting about all this is the ones complaining are companies that have the highest turnover of employees. The most employees on public subsistence, But yet all of these are showing huge profits.
Years ago Colorado put in a state minimum wage law that forced these companies to pay a living wage; there reason was that the state should not have to subsidies mega corporations with welfare and food stamps for the employees. Did any of them leave the state or raise the prices no.
If companies like Papa John’s are forced to provide decent benefits for their employees they are not going to shut down, and even if they did there would be lots of descent companies to take up the slack. Are they going to raise their prices no, to completive of a market?
If you like you’re tax dollars going to subsidizing these types of companies that you’re projective. I for one don’t like it one bit.
