"Garry Trudeau is the premier American social and political satirist of his time." -Newsweek Doonesbury has managed to be articulate, abrasive, political, compassionate, misunderstood, misprinted, and outrageous - but one thing it's never been is complacent. Garry Trudeau's creation has chronicled American history and culture in a parallel universe. And through it all, Doonesbury has always been honest, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

Obama smoking pot like a fiend? No mention. Doing coke? No mention. Bullying a girl? No mention. Solyndra? No mention. Associating with terrorists? No mention. Invading several more countries? No mention. Fast and Furious and the murder of over 300 Mexican citizens and at least one American cop? No mention. Biden’s constant gaffe’s? No mention. Absolutely ZERO business or real-world work experience? No mention. Absent almost every vote in his entire short history as a legislator? No mention.
But by all means, let’s poke fun at Romney’s business experience. Gotta be worth a vote or two from people who don’t know any better and who only read the State-approved sources.

OK, we get it, Big-O; you have been tasked to inject the Right Echo Chamber here. But this week’s topic has been Vulture Mitt and his gaffes.

Orion, Mitt has zero real world business experience, too. His daddy was rich and powerful, so ricj and powerful people took care of him.

Zero real world business experience, rich and powerful daddy…sounds familiar.

If you think Mitt the Bully is bad, in this the Atlantic article, Maraniss makes Obama look like a gd Bogart, “intercepted!”.
I wouldn’t trust the author’s musical taste

So, Orion, do you also haunt the right-wing cartoonists, and under their cartoons bitterly complain that they are one-sided, and only attack Democratic politicians? If not, then you are neither standing up for, nor exemplifying, fairness or objectivity: then you would be acting the partisan hack that you accuse Trudeau of being.
However one has only to consider the way Trudeau treated Clinton to know that he has never been a party hack. He does favor the causes he thinks just and right, mocks those he opposes, and occasionally winks at the faults of those he favors. Can you name ONE cartoonist who doesn’t?
You know what? If you hate Doonesbury so much, don’t read it. Nobody is twisting your arm. Nobody but regular Trudeau readers, and only a few of them, are ever going to read your comments. Or do you really think that you, with your vitriolic comments, are going to win over one single person? As opposed to just add to the climate of mutual antagonism that is the bane of the USA?

Since when has politics had anything to do with objectivity?
